Description

This Great Blue Heron landed with style in a lagoon at the Ding Darling Nature Preserve on Sanibel Island. And I had to sacrifice a pint of my blood to the no-see-ems to get the picture. :-)

Very nice shot--how fast is that shutter speed? And the pow-wow in the background is wonderful.
